Harmony Care Home is a personal care home — a small, private residential setting with a maximum of three residents. Unlike a nursing home or large assisted living facility, your loved one lives in an actual home, not an institution. With just a handful of residents, caregivers know each person individually — their history, preferences, and daily rhythms. The environment is quieter, more consistent, and far more personal than any facility setting can offer.
We provide personal care services, which include assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. We also provide medication management, on-premises caregiver coverage, emergency response, and coordination with outside providers. We do not provide skilled nursing services, medical procedures, or clinical care — those are coordinated through your loved one's existing physicians, home health, or hospice providers, all of whom we work with closely.
The monthly rate is all-inclusive: a furnished private room with WiFi and TV/streaming, three home-cooked meals and snacks daily, all personal care assistance, medication management, housekeeping, laundry, linen service, and on-premises caregiver coverage every night. We believe in transparent pricing — no hidden fees or surprise charges. We'll discuss your specific rate during your consultation based on the level of care needed.
Harmony Care Home is a private-pay facility and does not currently accept Medicare or Medicaid. However, many long-term care insurance policies do cover residential care homes — we encourage families to verify their benefits with their insurance provider. We're happy to provide documentation to support a claim. Veterans may also qualify for VA Aid & Attendance benefits, which can help offset costs — please ask us about this option during your consultation.
When a room is available, we can often accommodate moves within a few days — including same-week placements for urgent situations such as hospital discharges. We work frequently with discharge planners and social workers and understand that these transitions are often time-sensitive. Contact us as early as possible to discuss availability. Yes — and we actively encourage it. Standard visiting hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and we ask that families plan visits within that window when possible. These hours help maintain a consistent daily schedule for all residents and allow our caregiving staff the rest they need to continue providing excellent care.

That said, we understand that life doesn't always follow a schedule. We are always willing to accommodate special circumstances — particularly during a resident's final days, when family presence is not just welcomed but cherished. If you need to arrange a visit outside of standard hours, simply call us and we'll make it work. We believe the best care happens when families and caregivers are genuine partners, and you'll always be kept informed about your loved one's wellbeing, daily routines, and any changes in their condition.
Yes. We work collaboratively with hospice agencies to support residents who are receiving end-of-life care. Our goal is to ensure that your loved one can remain in the comfort, privacy, and warmth of our home through every stage of life — supported by both our dedicated caregivers and your chosen hospice team.
